CHAPTER MEETINGS AND EVENTS

IODE Jon Sigurdsson Chapter holds four business meetings per year, in February, April, September and November. We also hold a Spring Luncheon in May, a Christmas Luncheon in December, and our Scholarship Presentation event at the end of October. 

Our business meetings and special events (with the exception of the Scholarship Presentation) are usually held on the second Saturday of the months listed, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., at the Scandinavian Cultural Center, 764 Erin Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Business meetings may also include a presentation by another local charity group or special guest. 

Rose Bird is presented the Gyda Naylor Scholarship for a Faculty of Education student by Vicky Isliefson, IODE Jon Sigurdsson Education Chair.
